July is nearly over now, but its reminders can be savored all year long. In July our thoughts return in gratitude for the pioneers in our lives, those who blazed the trail for us in some ways that bless our lives today. We are inspired as we remember their courage which in turn can give us courage when we encounter hard things.
Peter and his wife Liz have long been an integral part of the Scudder Association Foundation. He and his family were frequent visitors to the Scudder Retreat on Shelter Island, NY, where the wind and the sea were woven into the family’s spirit. His presence within our organization will be sorely missed.
