The Association’s website exists to:

  • preserve and share Scudder family history;
  • promote genealogical and historical research;
  • provide educational resources;
  • process membership applications;

is owned by or licensed to the Association.

User Submissions

When you submit:

  • family trees
  • genealogical records
  • stories
  • photographs
  • letters
  • historical documents
  • research materials

you confirm that:

  • you own the material or have permission to share it;
  • the submission does not violate copyrights;
  • living persons’ privacy has been reasonably considered;
  • you grant the Association a non-exclusive right to preserve, archive, publish, and use the material consistent with its nonprofit mission.

Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

  • submit false genealogical information knowingly;
  • upload harmful software or malicious code;
  • harass or defame other members;
  • misuse membership directories;
  • use Association content commercially without permission;
  • attempt unauthorized access to website systems.
