The Association’s website exists to:
- preserve and share Scudder family history;
- promote genealogical and historical research;
- provide educational resources;
- process membership applications;
- receive donations;
- support family connections and historical preservation.

is owned by or licensed to the Association.

User Submissions
When you submit:
- family trees
- genealogical records
- stories
- photographs
- letters
- historical documents
- research materials
you confirm that:
- you own the material or have permission to share it;
- the submission does not violate copyrights;
- living persons’ privacy has been reasonably considered;
- you grant the Association a non-exclusive right to preserve, archive, publish, and use the material consistent with its nonprofit mission.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not:
- submit false genealogical information knowingly;
- upload harmful software or malicious code;
- harass or defame other members;
- misuse membership directories;
- use Association content commercially without permission;
- attempt unauthorized access to website systems.
