The Indian government only funds Arni School through the 10th grade. SAF’s 2023 grant of $6,000 plus the donation of $4,000 by a SAF director, allowed Arni School to provide teachers for 11th and 12th grades. This allowed students to graduate with a high school diploma making them eligible to apply to higher educational institutions. This means higher incomes for entire families.

In 2022 SAF’s grant of $6,000 renovated large sections of Arni School and paid for a wall to surround the school protecting school property from wandering animals and people.
